BookBoro’s goal is simple - to provide writers, readers, and publishers of all kinds a better way to get new deserving books published and out into the world. It does this through the creation of a welcoming online community where writers and readers share thoughts and ideas to the enjoyment and benefit of both parties. Writers have a space to share their works in progress, offering readers an early peek on what’s to come. This enables readers to share valuable feedback, all while doing what they love. BookBoro uses analytics from these interactions and critiques to help writers improve their drafts…and their chances of successfully publishing.

Dan Lebish, Founder of BookBoro, recently retired from a 35-year career in the Healthcare and Insurance Industry, serving in executive roles including CFO of Magee-Women’s Hospital, CEO of HM Insurance Group, CEO of United Concordia Dental, and COO of Aflac U.S.
While excelling at his career in the healthcare and insurance industry, Dan felt frustrated by the struggles of becoming a successfully published author - his real passion. The roadblocks of completing a book, finding representation, and publishing were abundant. His experience as an aspiring author was that the publishing process was cumbersome, lengthy, and non-transparent, ultimately leading to dead ends.
Based on his experience with this difficult process and his desire to help other authors achieve their goals, he believed that there had to be a better way.
Dan’s executive experience, coupled with the advancements in crowdsourcing and data analytics, brought to life BookBoro: an online community welcoming aspiring authors, engaged readers, and niche publishers to join together to produce better books.
